Q: How long does the RMHCI period take?

100 weeks (~2 yrs) minimum. The Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling sets a floor, not a ceiling.

A Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) needs 1,500 face-to-face and 100 supervision before applying for the LMHC license. The accrual period is 100 weeks (~2 yrs) minimum.
